I’ve always thought rompers were for the younger set … like girls from 14 – 25. Mostly because rompers tend to be so short that you have to have flawless legs to pull it off, not to mention a killer butt because some of them are SO short that it may peek out.
Well, somehow I managed to find one that isn’t too-too short and when paired properly doesn’t make me look like I’m wearing my daughter’s clothing.
The trick is to find a romper that isn’t super short, doesn’t look like a sac and is in a pattern that doesn’t scream “I’m 14 years old”.
I got this romper at Planet Blue (this pattern no longer available). As you can see on their website … it used to have sleeves. I cut them off 🙂 . I thought they looked too “Stevie Nicks” for my style. I felt the pattern would be easy to make work as far as shoes and accessories etc. When I’m on a beach vacation I pair it with a wrap and when I’m in a city I pair it with a structured blazer.
It’s not secret that high heels make your legs look better. So, I usually wear a wedge or some sort of heel when I’m wearing anything that shows my legs. Today I’m wearing a Prada cork-wedge.
What I’m Wearing
Club Monaco Blazer – currently on sale & maybe the best blazer I’ve ever had.
Prada Wedges – no longer available
Quay Sunglasses – in rose gold
That’s it Girls! Have a great Sunday!! xoxo
