Before I even begin this post I wan to make it clear that I receive no money or anything from any of these products or the companies that make them. This is just my opinion and experience with them.
Like many of us, I look sideways at a product that is brought to me via infomercial. However, on a rare occasion they actually grab me and I decide to give the product a try.
Recently, I started using Beverly Hills MD Dark Spot Corrector. Last year, It became clear that I have what is called Melasma. Melasma is basically hyper-pigmentation which results in dark spots on my face and body. It’s at it’s worst during the Summer months, and I spend all winter trying to get rid of it. It is activated by the sun, heat, and sometimes hormones. I’ve tried laser treatment, bleach … pretty much everything my Dermatologist had to offer. It helped but was very expensive. I’ve recently learned that the bleach I have been using may actually be bad for you. So one night while I was in bed I came across Beverly Hills MD Dark Spot Corrector. Considering the price compared to what I’ve been spending, I figured it’s worth a try. I bought it. It’s been about three weeks and I definitely see a difference. I’ve started using it on my décolleté and am about to order more to use on my arms. I can’t say how it will work for others, but I have been pleased. One Tip – Use it twice a day … morning and night.
I never had skin acne or anything more than the random pimple when I was younger. Once I started having kids, I started getting cyst like pimples that were painful. Out of desperation I tried using the Proactiv regime. It worked. The Refining Mask is my absolute favorite product. I put a dab on a pimple and sleep with it overnight and the pimple is usually under control by the next morning. If you suffer from acne or get the more than occasional pimple – give this system a try.
This shampoo really keeps your hair healthy. I was so desperate at one point to bring my dry hair back to life, and Wen really helped me. One tip I will give you is if your hair starts to fall flat with this product, just use a clarifying shampoo once a week and that should do the trick. Really pleased with this product!
I have been using this product since I was 11 years old. I have a scar on my face, and back then this product was introduced when a huge Supermodel had her face slashed by a crazed stalker. She showed how she used it to cover the slash marks on her face, and we were all amazed at how well it worked. I use it on my scar, pimples, and to cover my dark spots. It’s the best concealer I’ve ever tried. I use it along with the setting powder and it lasts all day. One tip – You have to get the right shade though or it will do the opposite and highlight what you’re trying to camouflage. If you have an Ulta or a store that sells it, try the shades on your skin.
